Mobile LED Trailer

The City of Allen

The City of Allen, Texas is transforming community events with their MAX 1710 Mobile LED Trailer, showcasing how Allen TX city departments are embracing this innovative mobile technology. Since purchasing the trailer, they’ve elevated programming across golf tournaments, movie nights, community programs, and more, creating new opportunities for engagement and sponsorship while simplifying event production.

At golf tournaments, the trailer has enhanced both the player and spectator experience by showcasing live scores and sponsor messages.

Assistant Golf Director Cotton Davis shared, “The trailer is a valuable asset in so many different ways we can use it,” adding how it performed at a summer event on the city’s golf course: “It was about six o’clock, in the middle of July, so it was still really sunny and hot outside, but the picture was great, the sound was perfect, and you could hear it pretty far away, so there was no issue with trying to watch the movie during the day. It was perfect. While you were hitting balls, you could turn around and watch Happy Gilmore.”

For community programs, the trailer has become a central hub for sharing information, broadcasting live feeds, and keeping residents engaged. Joe Farmer Center Supervisor Arthur Herriott explained how it outperforms their previous inflatable screen: “We have an inflatable that was our previous screen which took several men to operate it. This screen was able to make it a much more simple process. A lot more hands free and it provided a clearer picture that was a big difference.”

He added that the trailer’s ease of setup and versatility create significant value: “That created a lot of value for us and then just the simplicity of it where you just pull up, turn it on, elevate it, have music, those all features put a lot of value to the screen.”

Movie nights in the park have become a community favorite, offering families a true outdoor event technology theater experience. One team member explained, “Since acquiring the LED Trailer, it has allowed us to utilize this piece of equipment any time of day or night. Anytime of the year within any program. From special events to our day camp, we can bring this trailer out and use it without any worries of the visual quality or the audio quality. It is just a fantastic piece of equipment to have.”

Beyond enhancing events, the trailer has also been integrated into Allen’s sponsorship packages, giving local businesses a new platform to connect with the community. Assistant Director Kyle Benedict emphasized how the trailer has brought new advertising opportunities to the community, benefiting both local businesses and their department's bottom line “The LED screen is now a part of our sponsorship package. And an opportunity for our local business to have an opportunity to advertise and present in front of the community.”

The trailer and its features weren’t the only things that stood out to Allen’s city staff. Assistant Director Kyle Benedict shared, “Insane Impact has been great to work with from the time we reached out to make the initial inquiry to receiving our trailer, to getting it set up for the first time, to all of our technical issues and questions that we’ve had, they've been very responsive [and] they've been available 24/7.”

For the Allen, Texas local government, the MAX 1710 Mobile LED Trailer has proven to be more than just an LED screen trailer for events. By simplifying event logistics, enhancing the audience experience, and creating new opportunities for sponsorship, this custom mobile LED solution continues to make every event brighter, more engaging, and more memorable.
