Instructions for Mod Removal and Replacement Using a Vacuum
- Identify the Defective Mod
- Inspect the panel to determine which mod is defective.
- Mark the defective mod with tape for easy identification.
- Note: The panel is divided into four separate mods, indicated by white lines.
- Prepare for Removal
- Use a vacuum specifically designed for mod removal.
- Place the vacuum directly on the front of the panel over the defective mod.
- Remove the Mod
- Turn the vacuum on and apply even pressure while removing the mod.
- Be aware that the mod is held in place by magnetic tabs on both the panel and the mod itself.
- Replace the Mod
- Align the pins on the replacement mod with the hub on the panel.
- Use the vacuum to carefully place the new mod into position.
- Ensure the mod is fully set and securely in place.
- Final Check
- Verify that the replacement mod is properly aligned and seated.
